Well, I'm back from my adventures in Australia and New Zealand! I've had a whale of a time and now have lots of inspiration for new work...so watch this space!
In other news a little project I have been working on for Artforum is nearly complete, soon I will have my own range of miniture 'Kate's Houses' in the style of 'Momiji'! I am very excited about this project so keep your eyes open for them. Also just before I went away I did some work for Loveli design in Birmingham...a range of 6 notebooks...these can be viewed here

I had a bit of a suprise last night when I received an email from Lucia at Betty Joy, telling me my busy bee notebook had been featured in another magazine. This time the August edition of 'Essentials'. It's on the 'new this month' page and has a little stamp next to it saying 'essentials loves it'....ah thanks guys!

I hope you've all rushed out to buy Mizz magazine this morning! It felt like it was christmas when I was tearing through the plastic (removing my free gift of 'face shimmer') and opening the 'Bag a Bargain' page! My Busy Bee Notebook has been featured...through Betty Joy and it's tres exciting! If you can't get to the shops or haven't got £2,10 to spare the page is below!
In other news, The Fine City Friends are in the finishing stages of producing a 'zine...it will be amazing so watch this space!

Bonjour everyone, it's been a while since I last had a proper update so this may turn into an essay! I've got some fun new stuff in the shop, which includes 2 notebooks and a new card.
This is one of the new items...the 'Time to go' travel journal...perfect to take on your summer holidays!
I did another 'craft fair' yesterday, not too much of a success I've got to admit, but nevermind. Gemma and Zara, of The Fine City Friends, brought me tea and kept me company. Sticking to the Fine City Friends...we are making a zine. This will include various random things ranging from squirrel doodles and games to an illustrated guide to the top 10 carboot finds! Keep checking our blog for all of the latest news on that front...citing!
Right I told you this would be a long one...for all you lovers of teenage magazines here's a note for your diary...10th July please buy Mizz magazine as my work is hopefully being featured in it. I'm so excited...my first piece of press...yay!

I'm doing pretty well at keeping y'all up to date with what's going on this end! I'm so excited today as I have just found out I have been mentioned on the fabulous Print & Pattern Blog. I look at this blog all the time and am so pleased to have been featured on it...so thanks for that, yippeeee!
I have spent the last couple of days at Petra Boase's studio/warehouse. It was great fun and Petra is lovely...her Auntie Lorraine is lovely too, and brought in a homegrown lettuce for us to have in our sandwiches. It was good to see how the business is run and I'm now looking forward to spending 3 days with Petra in London, for the trade fair Pulse.
Anyway I've got a tonne of stuff to do so Ciao for now!

Yay new stuff in the shop! Badges and envelope and sticker packs are now available. Also tote bags will be added as soon as I get a minute...watch this space!
As for other news...the Clutter City Market was a complete success...I think a lovely day was had by all that attended. Thanks to Matthew for helping me out and for pretending to not be too bored...much appreciated!
I'm going off to Petra Boase for a couple of days tomorrow to do some work experience, so will report back from that when I have chance. Check out their website because their goodies are nice!

I found out the other day that one of my designs was chosen as a winner of the Moo Print sticker competion...how very exciting! I am very happy that it will now get printed as a sticker and put into a book along with lots of other nice designs...Stoked! You can see my winning design on my Pixish profile.
I have been spending a lot of time in the garden, drawing random things. These are some plastic deer I bought from a charity shop...they look a little less scary in real life!

Today it was sunny...I didn't wear a coat all day, it was nice. I meant to eat an ice cream but I forgot!
I've just finished some work commissioned by a friend...designing a set of 'good luck' cards for the start of Kylie's tour! Very swish and good fun...you can see 1 of the designs below but will have to wait to see the finished (printed) articles next week.

G'day! So at long last I finally booked my trip to Australia today, woohoo. I'm so excited, I can't wait to see kangaroos and koalas and dingos!

I've had a very busy weekend, getting this site up and running (at long last) and attending the Fine City Friends, Everbody Likes Eggs Fair. I sold some of my trinkets and drank lots of tea...it was really fun, even though we were all bathed in an Amsterdam red light effect!
I also doodled a parrot super sleuth called Sherlock Banderas and sidekick Mitch! As seen below
